We have developed close links with primary schools in the local area, including Mousehold Infant School, Magdalene Gates Primary School, Angel Road Infant School, Angel Road Junior School and George White Junior School. Nicki Collins, our Children and Community Worker, regularly runs activities and clubs in the schools. Nicki teaches Bible stories, explores concepts such as prayer and provides a fun and interactive environment for the children to ask questions and discover more about the Christian faith.
Topics covered at Nicki’s sessions vary and they include: respecting others, bullying, helping others, developing self confidence.
Nicki is a trained ‘Walk Through The Bible’ presenter and teaches Bible stories to children in school years 5 and 6.

NCBC has a team of people leading ‘Open the Book’ assemblies every week. The assemblies tell Bible stories, often including roles for the children to play, whether it’s helping to act out the story or participating in sound effects and actions!
