Christian Aid Week, 13th-19th May
This year, Christian Aid is impacting on poverty and transforming lives. There are 40 million displaced people on the planet today. Christian Aid seeks to help people rebuild their lives in places such as Haiti which was crippled by an earthquake.
The mission of Christian Aid is Dignity, Equality and Justice.
At NCBC we have always had a passion for Christian Aid. Last year, Marcus Kilpatrick boldly climbed Mount Kilimanjaro for the charity! We have become well known for our Christian Aid muffins and this year is no different. Elaine and Kate will be making over 300 muffins which will go on sale after church on 13th May.
Members of the church will also be distributing and collecting Christian Aid envelopes.
For more information, please see Steve and Kate Gaskin.

As well as our street collection for Christian Aid Week (14th – 20th May) there’s lots more going on to raise money for Christian Aid. Over £300 was raised from donations on Sunday 14th May for Steve Gaskin’s home made muffins and cakes (yum yum) and £1,000 was raised at the Quiz Night in April.
